We are cleaning shelves. As of 1/31/24 anything that is over 6 months old will be disposed of. That includes painted and unpainted items. Please come in and pick up or complete your items.

The studio will be closed for the Holidays. We have multiply family events scheduled and I don’t want to be open just one day here and there. The studio will be closed as of 5pm today until Friday 1/5/24. After that watch my page. I am being assigned mandatory details at my full time job. I will try to get the studio covered as much as possible. There will days that I will have to be closed. Can’t wait till I’m retired and then the studio will be open full time. Sorry for now.

I’ve always said I wanted to teach more than just pottery on the wheel. So I am going to do a sculpting, molding and finishing class. It will take 5-7 weeks. That depends on each person’s speed. It’s going to start in January for the winter months. I need at least 5 people to sign up and I can do as many as 12. So you will carve or sculpt a tile. Then we will cast that tile into a mold. We will then duplicate that tile and make a box. Pictured is a double box. You will make a 5″x5″ box. Everyone can work at their own speed. Message me or stop in to reserve your spot. The cost will be $300.00 for the 5X5. The double box would be $350.00 if you like the size of this one. That includes all of the materials and time in the studio. The class will be 7am to 10 am on Saturdays but the studio is open after that so you will be welcome to work as long as you want to. This will put people at different spots in their progress. This must be prepaid. I’m looking to start on 1/20/24. Please stop in before that to pay and reserve your spot. There will be limited spots so everyone gets personal attention with their piece. I will be taking reservations starting on 1/5/24.

2024 is going to be a new year. I am cleaning out all my shelves. Everything that is over 6 months old will be disposed of. Pick it up or paint it. I still have items here from 2018. Starting 2024 I will not have them. I am calling everyone and letting them know. The place is a mess because I have so much stuff people don’t come and get. I hate to throw away anyone’s art but it has overwhelmed me. Please come get it!!!

I’m finally selling prints of one of my paintings. I have painted a lot of paintings over the years that I have just given away. Now my art is available to anyone. This print is 18″X24″. I will be selling 50 prints and 25 artist embellished. The print is a print on canvas of the original with an original signature and numbered. Artist embellished means I will go and add paint to a print to make everyone unique. So this post is for a print that is #3 of 50. It’s $89. Embellished prints will be $189. The original is a 3’X4′ and it will be $2000. You will have to sign off knowing prints will be sold. That just makes the original worth more. If you want an embellished print send me a message.

I have recently lost my helper. So right now I am the only person at the studio. So I am going to keep posting the days that I have to close due to my personal schedule. My son Ricky is going to help when he can. I’m really sorry but it’s really tough running a studio when you are the only employee. There is a pinned post on facebook that will be updated regularly. Yeah I’m back 9/6/23. I’ve been released to modified duty and that means I can work part time if I don’t violate restrictions. Yes, art doesn’t violate anything. So starting 9/6/23 the studio will be open regular hours.

Wed, Thur, Fri 5-9pm and Sat 10am-6pm

I’m doing a clean out so if you have old stuff that needs to be painted or picked up you have 30 days.

I’m here and getting started. Running a little slow today. Probably won’t start firing till 10am but weather looks good so I will probably go till 5 or 6 tonight. If your coming out late give me a call 410-387-1321. We are open for regular business today also. So if you have something you were trying to get finished come on out and get it done.

So I am looking at the weather for next weekend and they are calling for rain early on Saturday and cloudy on Sunday. It is still 7 days away and we all know the weather in MD. Hopefully it will change in our favor. I can not fire in the rain but anything else is a go. I have over 50 pieces available that are $25 for the vase and $35 with a candle in it.
